This was my second baby crochet project. Not surprisingly, I found this pattern on Repeat Crafter Me. Instead of making a Tushie cover, I did a diaper cover. I made these a month before my son was born.I put the costume on him after he arrived. He didn't seem to mind.He was too tired to struggle.… Continue reading Infant Bee Hat and Diaper Cover
My neighbors put up some St. Patrick's Day decor. I decided to join in by making a shamrock door hanger using C2C crochet. This is not my best work. I missed a cell.🤪 The shamrock also looks fatter on the right side. It could also used a border. I don't know if because it's hand… Continue reading Shamrock Door Hanger
This was the first crochet project I made for my son while I was seven months pregnant. I hadn't touched my crochet hook in ten years. I had to relearn all the crochet lingos and refresh myself with some crochet techniques on YouTube. I hadn't able to stop crochet or knit since this hat. This… Continue reading Crochet Baby Aviator Hat
Though this is an advanced level by We Are Knitters standard, it's not actually that difficult, technique wise. One thing I suggest is not to hang this piece after it's completed. I feel like mine has been stretched a little bit. Overall, a very fun and good learning experience.
I was scrolling through Instagram and saw how Tunisian crochet was done. I was so fascinated by it and had to try it. And tah-dah: my first two Tunisian crochet dishcloths: simple Tunisian crochet stitch (red and pink) and honeycomb stitch (green and yellow). I found this pattern on My PopPet Makes. Such a fun… Continue reading First Tunisian Crochet Dishcloths

I was so excited I finally designed something myself instead of following patterns.Case pattern: Chain 16 Single crochet 2nd loop from hook, all the way across (15 stitches) Single crochet 9 rows for each color. The belt: Chain… Continue reading Crochet Sunglasses Case
This was my second knit garment. I used Bernat Roving Yarn. I really like this yarn and the moss stitch. Moss stitch is very easy and gives a great look. I didn't follow the instructions for the collar and the two front panels. I wanted the front to be a bit longer. It turned out… Continue reading Modified Yarnspiration Cocoon Cardigan
Today to celebrate Chinese New Year, I decided to post this home decor I made last year. This character "福” means blessing, good fortune, or bliss. It's a tradition to hang the character upside-down, because upside-down in Chinese rhymes with to come. Hanging this character upside-down means fortune come. I used C2C (corner to corner)… Continue reading Happy Chinese New Year
I made these dishcloth a year ago for last year's Valentine's day. I gave them to my coworker's kids. Unfortunately I don't know where the pattern is anymore. I used Lily Sugar N' Cream yarn. Happy Valentine's Day!
This was my very first knitted sweater . I found this pattern on Red Heart website (link below). It was a good learning experience for beginner knitters. I shorten the sleeves a bit. I only used one skein of Caron one pound. I ran out of the skein and added some leftover white yarn I had. I… Continue reading My First Knit Sweater
