I bought this pattern last summer and started making it. But 3/4 of the way through, I realized it was too small.
I bought new fabric this year, but I didn’t pay attention to the width of the fabric. I bought 3 yards with 44″ width but the suggested width was 48″. I didn’t have additional room to cut the fabric to a larger size. So I stuck with size 4 and use 1/8″ of seam allowance instead of the recommended 1/2″. It’s a close fit.

The most attractive part of this design was the back. I chose knee length, bra friendly with sleeves. The other option include tea length, high button, and sleeveless. You can mix and match any of these elements.

As you can see, I cut the back pieces a bit short. They were not joined with the belt. On top of that, it couldn’t cover my bra strap.
I also messed up the belt. I had to add a few inches to make it fit right. You can see the top button of the skirt is off center. But I can’t see my back, and I don’t care what you think. 😛

From the front, it looks alright, right?
