There is a list of summer garments I want to sew this summer. This Sew Liberated Metamorphic Dress is one of them. I picked this because I found the reversible feature so intriguing. Not to mention it’s beginner friendly.
Make the fronts and backs of top and bottom dresses. Sew the shoulder seams of top and bottom dresses.

Then, the BURRITO METHOD to sew the shoulder seams of the top and bottom dress together. Last and my favorite part of the burrito method, pull the piece out!
Whenever I made the garment according to the size chart, it always turned out big. So this time I decided to make size zero, but I should really be making size 2. Though it fits, I can’t afford to gain any weight :P. If I do, I guess I’ll just have to make another one. I used quilting cotton for this. The bottom is a little bulky. I will try something more drappy next time.
