I took another class from Fancy Tiger making the Pendleton Tote couple months ago. Though it was expensive (class, fabric, handles), the experience was quite worth it. When you buy the Pendleton fabric, it came folded. 
For this tote, we only needed half of the fabric. I was going to use the other half of the fabric for a cross body bag. I sew the cross body bag, but haven’t gotten around buying the handles. Fancy Tiger also offers a clutch class that uses the Pendleton fabric.
The Pendleton fabric was so mesmerizing to look at. The fabric is two sided. So you can choose which side you want as the exterior.
