If you’ve been following my posts, I re-started crocheting while I was pregnant. This was my son’s first Halloween. Probably like many parents, I decided very early on, I would put him in a pumpkin. And I should make him a hat and boots to go with it. So there he was, wearing mom made hat and boots!

Since this was still my early days of crocheting, I used many patterns from Repeat Crafter Me. This one was based on her water melon hat and boots.
The yarn I used were Vanna’s Choice. I couldn’t remember where I found the pattern for the leaves and the stem. It was very likely I googled it and picked the top result.

Halloween is fast approaching! I hope new parents out there find something fun for your kiddos! I’m still in the process of finishing up this year’s costume for my son. If you want to find out what I’m making, you can scroll back through my post from a few months go. Otherwise, I’ll reveal it as soon as it’s done!
