Coco Summer Top (Pattern Inside)

I was so excited when I got these Loopy Mango Big Cotton.  As soon as I got home, I started knitting.  There was only one thing I had in mind when I started: linen stitch.

Long story short, here’s my pattern.  As always, comment below if you find any errors in my pattern.  Thank you for stopping by!

I’m 5’4″ and I wear US size small.

Materials used: 8mm 36″ circular needles, stitch marker,

Color A: Misty Morning,

Color B: Apricot,

Color C: Canary

Body (from bottom up)

With Color A, cast on 76 stitches(st)

Following rows with Color A.

Row 1-5: Knit

Row 6: Purl

Row 7-13: With Color A and Color B, linen stitch (I love all Studio Knit videos) (76 st)

Row 14: With Color A, purl

Following rows with color B:

Row 15: Purl

Row 16-25: Knit

Row 26: Purl

Row 27-33: Knit

Following rows with color C:

Row 34: Purl

Row 35-41: Knit

Row 42: Purl

Row 43-44: Knit

The Front:

Row 45: (RS) Knit half way (38st), turn (You’ll now knitting the front of the top back and forth.)

Row 46: (WS)K5, P1, P2tog, purl all the way across till last 8 st, P2tog, P1, K5, turn (36 st)

Row 47: (RS) K5, K1, K2tog, Knit all the way across till last 8 st, K2tog, K1, K5, turn (34 st)

Row 48: (WS)K5, P1, P2tog, purl all the way across till last 8 st. P2tog, P1, K5, turn (32 st)

Row 49: (RS)K5, K1, K2tog, knit all the way across till last 8 st, K2tog, K1, K5, turn (30 st)

Left side shoulder:

Row 50: (WS) K5, P1, P2tog, P8, turn (15 st)

Row 51: (RS) K5, K1, K2tog, K7, turn (14 st)

Row 52: (WS) K5, P1, P2tog, P6, turn (13 st)

Row 53: (RS) K5, K1, K2tog, K5, turn (12 st)

Row 54: (WS) K5, P1, P2tog, P4, turn (11 st)

Row 55: (RS) K5, K1, K2tog, K3, turn (10 st)

Row 56: (WS) K5, P1, P2tog, P2, turn (9 st)

Row 57: (RS) K5, K1, K2tog, K1, turn (8 st)

Row 58: (WS) Cast off all st.

Right side shoulder:

Pick up where left off at row 49, repeat Row 50-58

The Back:

Pick up where left off at row 44, repeat Left side shoulder and Right side shoulder.
